Primary Server:

The User Interface

As the name implies, the primary server is the brains behind the system. In short, it recieves OSC strings, and then sends them in the required format to attatched modules via USB. The software is very light on processing and is designed to run off a rasberry pi (It has been tested on both the 3B and 4) but can also be run off windows. It has recently been redesigned with a new interface (pictured above) which allows for cue labels and easy troubleshooting. The other modules plug in to the server via USB and then control onstage actuators as desired.

All of the modules apart from the Backtalk and kinect module require the server to operate. Therefore although it is possible to power the computer running the server with a battery, it is not recommended.
